At Frontier, we’re still a small business, designing & building all of our firepits byhand. Therefore, you can expect to receive your firepit within 4-8 weeks (shorter if possible!)

Our firepits are made from CorTen steel.

Yes it will. The beauty of our product is that cor-ten steel oxidizes from heat & moisture, eventually resulting in a patina shade of dark brown. It typically takes a few months to achieve the darker brown color as featured on our website.

We recommend cleaning out your firepit after each use to avoid ash build-up, and expedited aging. Ash build-up can cause the airflow in the bottom of the pit to be blocked, which can result in a less efficient fire. The best way to remove the ash from your firepit is to use a shovel or vacuum designed for removing ash. Always allow sufficient time for the ashes to cool before scooping or vacuuming them out.

Yes. Our pits are made to last, in rain, snow, and everything in between.

Yes, the heat from your fire will be absorbed by the steel, and can be hot to the touch. Just like any fire, keep little ones and pets from getting too close.

If you are unsatisfied for any reason, simply ship it back to us, and we will provide a full refund. While we do offer free shipping to you, we do not offer free return shipping, unless the product was damaged in transit.
