Frontier Designs was born in the heart of Austin, Texas, where craftsmanship and community meet. What started in a small steel fabrication shop quickly evolved into something much bigger, a way to bring people together.

We began with a simple idea: fire is at the center of every gathering. It’s where stories are told, meals are shared, and memories are made. But the market was flooded with flimsy, mass-produced fire pits that didn’t last more than a few seasons. We knew there had to be a better way.

So we built it.

Our team blends modern fabrication technology with old-world craftsmanship, ensuring that every angle, curve, and weld is intentional. From initial sketches to precision cutting and final finishing, we obsess over details others overlook.

We design with longevity and usability in mind. Every edge, seam, and proportion is tested for both durability and comfort whether it’s the optimal firebox depth for airflow, or the balance of height and width for perfect gathering around the flame. Unlike mass-produced alternatives, our fire pits are engineered to be functional works of art, meant to enhance both performance and aesthetics.
